Apr 2020 - Present
My role involves analysing hospital admissions and unscheduled care data to provide intelligence for a wide range of customers. I am also involved in the development of dashboards presenting information on Hospital Care, Unscheduled Care and COVID-19. Recently, I have been managing the development of the Syndromic Dashboard (including the Covid-19 analysis) with the aim to present information, in a more user-friendly and interesting way. Along this, I am also responsible for the review and improvement of the System Watch users documentation. Finally, I recently completed a bespoke analysis to investigate the RAPID hospital admissions specialty and primary diagnosis data quality. Show less

Jul 2017 - Mar 2020
In this role I was responsible for completing bespoke analyses and reports presenting End of Life/Palliative care information, which were requested by Health Boards, Scottish Government and members of the Academia. This often required the ability to handle multiple competing deadlines and priorities in an effective and timely manner. I was also involved in the regular update and development of the SOURCE dashboards and I also assisted with the team's regular publications and with any larger developmental project that the team received. Along with this, I was responsible for converting the High Resource Individuals LTC dashboard code from SPSS to R. This required extensive checks and analysis to ensure the correct results are still obtained with R and to assess whether an improvement of the dashboard updating process is achieved. Finally, I helped to deliver Source training sessions to internal and external customers. Show less
