Work alongside and assist the Managing Director / senior registered valuer, to take over as much of the core valuation work as possible. Undertake valuations and feasibility studies in accordance with RICS procedures, including site inspections, running calculations, and the production of the final written reports, to a high standard of quality and to meet agreed deadlines. Financial modelling in Microsoft Excel, including the creation of new models or scenarios, as well as performing updates to existing models, and also using standard industry software packages, where needed. Work with the team of researchers in order to successfully collect accurate and good quality comparable for reports, and to establish a database of market evidence. Maintain accurate records and inspection notes to comply with RICS regulatory requirements, and set up any systems required for managing this associated paperwork. Prepare proposal documents and services contracts. Manage the client relationship throughout, from the initial proposal and contract process, through to successful completion of the contract, including managing expectations and timescales, as well as any general support and additional hand holding required throughout the process. Represent the company in the market, developing business relationships and promoting the company’s services, in order to secure valuation, research and advisory contracts.
