As a service member at Meals on Wheels of Greater Houston, I was able to spend the summer months making intake calls to potential clients, assisting with various volunteer groups, attended and participating in meal delivery events like Operation Impact, and working on-site with various operations. Served 450 hours on-site and was able to volunteer at other related nonprofits in the Houston area. Spent 7 months at the Houston area nonprofit Kids Meals, Inc., where I collected data, attended company events, and went to various recruitment events and health fairs. The primary focus of my time with Kids Meals was to recruit more families into the meal program.
