Worked with the Security Ops team under Identity and Access Management. -Worked on the Data Governance project started as an effort to comply with the GDPR. Created a survey and interacted with the internal application owners to get their responses/ concerns. -Worked on data mapping, formatting and sanity checks for the same data with over 2000 fields from 15+ applications. Came up with a Python crawler for automation of the same. -Had sit-downs with teams including Product Security, Application Security, Penetration Testing, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Field Security, Incident response and briefly interviewed members to determine the functioning of all Security teams under the ServiceNow Security Organization

Worked on designing a platform - Task Manager, which enables employees across all departments to communicate with one another and designate tasks without maintaining any physical or manual registers. The existing system was completely analog record keeping and manual labor in terms of assigning tasks, coordinating them, providing a complete record. Task Manager takes all these issues up and makes communication convenient via a common platform. Assisted the IT head in routine security maintenance checks like refreshing the code periodically, removing the dead code according to the usage, optimizing the function calls and making the program as efficient as possible.

Research And Development Intern

Implemented 30+ modules in the implementation of Mapper’s algorithm in C++. The algorithm is typically used in Topological data analysis with the functionality of applying filters on data, clustering data, creating heat maps of data and visualizing the results as graphs. Manipulated the graphs with Boost Graph Library and visualized the results using OpenCV. Managed a team of four people back in India while being on-site for six weeks and assigned implementation and information gathering modules.
