Monitoring and Evaluation Field Officer (Gender-transformative approaches and Partnerships)

 Managed the Detailed-Implementation-Plan (DIP) by providing an analysis by the end of each month on achieved, on-going, and delayed activities to inform project’s team decisions. Implemented light and rigorous monitoring on project activities in Upper Egypt to improve the quality of the project’s implementation. Improved the quality of data sources and reported data by conducting Data Quality Assessment of indicators each quarter. Led a monthly, quarterly, and annual coordination and learning event between CRS and partners from three governorates: Sohag, Luxor, and Assiut. Built MEAL capacity for the partners and the Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) in rural areas on Results-Based Management, indicators, excel-basic functions, and monitoring for adaptive management. Prepared in coordination with the team the project narrative reports and performance indicator tracking tables according to the MEAL Plan. Created the project’s data collection tools: quantitative or qualitative, implemented and coordinated remotely during COVID-19 data collection of the project’s baseline with beneficiaries. Conducted Key Informant Interviews and FGDs for needs assessment on Gender-Based Violence in Minya. Mainstreaming Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) by researching on the integration of climate change and gender aspects in post-conflict states and the participation of women in peacebuilding processes in Syria, Yemen, and Libya. 2. Researching on increasing the civic engagement of youth in Tunisia and Moroccan cities. § Supported the creation of 13 country profiles for each Arab state member. These profiles synthesize lessons learned and best practices from programs and projects, disseminated in the tenth world urban forum. § Communicated with UN-Habitat offices across the Arab region to produce a quality country profile for each. § Climate change donors mapping for building resilient cities. § Rapporteur in key conferences on the post-conflict reconstruction of urban fabrics in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, and Libya.
