The Administrative Office is the central support entity for the Judicial Branch. It provides a wide range of administrative, legal, financial, management, program, and information technology services to the federal courts. My office is responsible for functions involving analysis of strategic policy, management, and program issues that have a bearing on the Judiciary’s national information technology program. This staff is the primary advisory resource to the Judicial Conference Committee on Information Technology, the Assistant Director for Information Technology, and the senior staff within the Office of Information Technology. Specific duties: •Serving as IT Policy Liaison responsible for the development of policies affecting the Judiciary’s national information technology program for consideration by the Judicial Conference of the United States and other Judicial branch authorities.; •Maintaining the IT volume of the Guide to Judiciary Policy, serving as single point of contact for IT policy for the entire federal court system •Managing logistics, agenda development, content submission (white papers), and post meeting report for bi-annual advisory council meetings; •Briefing court community on IT policy matters and other OIT initiatives, including presentations to judicial officer (federal judges) panels and committees; •Leading project team to evaluate the mechanism for distributing IT funds to the courts; i •Conducting analysis of expenditure data to make recommendations for refreshing the IT funding formula •Drafting publications, presentations, and other communication vehicles designed to inform the Judiciary on procedural, technical, and administrative issues as they relate to the national information technology program; Show less
