  As a senior lab technician in the analytical team R&D. • Report to the Senior Chemist/ Manager R&D – Analytical on the matters related to preventive maintenance, calibration, breakdown, rectification of analytical instruments and other related matters. • Perform PM of analytical instruments such as HPLC, KF Titrator, Dissolution Tester, Viscometer and UV-Vis Spectrophotometer. • Perform calibration of analytical instruments such as HPLC, UHPLC, KF Titrator, Dissolution Tester, Viscometer, and UV-Vis Spectrophotometer. • Responsible in verification & balance performance check of analytical balance, semi-microbalance, microbalance. • Responsible to rectify any instrument breakdown and rectify breakdown on priority to avoid any delay in usages. • Communicate with engineers and to take follow ups to close the task when cannot solve the breakdown internally. • Responsible to ensure all the analytical instruments in good condition and calibrated on time. • Responsible to ensure other than analytical instrument such as waterbath, centrifuge, data loggers, micropipettes, stopwatch and other equipments to be calibrated on time by vendor or TM department. • Responsible in documentation related with analytical instruments such as report calibration and others. • Responsible to monitor temperature in laboratory such as in balance room, MDI room, chemical room and refrigerator. Reporting the temperature twice in a month. • Responsible to create, revise or amend SOP related with instruments in the laboratory. • Responsible to maintain updated SOPs and log books for its usages. • Responsible to train new employee and give yearly training to employee. • Carry out laboratory testing such as Assay and RS by HPLC, Assay by UV-Vis, Water content determination by KF Titrator, physical test, Assay by FTIR, Dissolution by UV/HPLC and others. • Ensure to maintain the cleanliness and basic responsibilities of technician.
