During 2002-2004, I was enrolled as a permanent consultant for WB.  Save the Children UK, Study on the condition of children in conflict with the law under the Juvenile Justice Programme. The study tried to establish the number and conditions of children incarcerated within the confines of Dhaka Central Jail, safe custody, Tongi Correctional Centre, shelter homes run by government and the civil society.  Ain O Salish Kendra. For example, I had initiated and established a Drop in Centre for families with children from migrant and refugee background from non-English speaking background and other families in Auburn LGA. The issues involved were isolation of families not having any contacts with the community and not being aware of the services provided for families with children. Through this Project, I also had initiated a pool for recruiting temporary bilingual child care workers for caring for children who came along with families.
