Integrated SBI in the local banking market by becoming a member of the local Clearing system, RTGS. Launched SBI’s ATM-cum-Debit card which is networked to Benefit, GCCNet, Maestro and SBI’s ATM switch in India. Acquired more than 5000 customers within 2 years. Achieved the target of breaking even in the very first year of operation with payback in 4 years. In the 4th full year of’ operation, it recorded a profit of over USD 6.0 million on a capital base of USD 13 million, giving an RoE of nearly 50%. Show less
