Fariya has the rare ability of using her vast academic and research background to effectively implement reform projects in the field. I had the pleasure of working with Fariya for 2 years and came to rely on her knowledge and problem solving skills. She worked in a difficult context where we as an organization were learning as we went and Fariya managed to mobilize people around a vision and adapt when necessary. Fariya is a highly efficient worker and knows how to get the best out of those she is working with. She is as comfortable relating to citizens in the field as she is discussing complex ideas with national level governments officials. She is as competent analyzing data as she is facilitating stakeholder meetings and designing action plans. Fariya will be an asset to whatever organization she chooses to grace with her presence.
Sam B.
Fariya is an incredibly driven and self-motivated leader. When she joined the Policy & Advocacy Team at EWB, she was thrust into a fast-paced and high-pressure project with a significant amount of ambiguity. Fariya thrived in this environment, quickly establishing a robust project plan and guiding both team members and external partners through execution. Her ability to build strong working relationships and her keen eye for detail made the initiative a success. It was a pleasure to work with Fariya, and I would love the opportunity to do so again.
