Immediately reports any problems to the nearest VFU and the Livestock Sector Specialist. - Ensuring that all basic necessary vaccines have been administered to the animals in a timely fashion. - Frequently checking animal feeding and housing - Making sure the animals are safe and healthy. - Providing beneficiaries awareness and general knowledge about feeding and keeping their animals healthy and safe. - Introducing the TUP beneficiaries to the nearest VFUs. - Providing the required/necessary training to the TUP beneficiaries on animal treatment and vaccinations. - Providing Program Organizers training on livestock and vet services. - Developing very simple training materials so TUP beneficiaries will easily understand the training concept. - Discussing with VFUs the provision of proper treatment of the animals of the TUP beneficiaries. - Providing on time and regular oversight to the TUP beneficiaries and visit/check up their animals. - Making links between the beneficiaries and the local VFUs. - Undertaking additional relevant assignments.
