  As the Director of the Power System Planning Center at the Esfahan Regional Electric Company (EREC), I have held numerous high-stakes responsibilities since 2004. I've had the privilege of leading comprehensive studies of the EREC power grid (MV, HV and EHV networks) and creating a series of 5-year transmission expansion planning reports that determine EREC's strategic direction. A standout accomplishment during my tenure was spearheading the development of the Wide Area Measurement System, leveraging synchrophasor technologies and various real-time, online, and offline applications, tailored specifically for the EREC grid. My portfolio encompasses key projects such as reactive power planning, steady-state, RMS, and EMT studies, isolation coordination studies, and optimal DG placement. Additionally, I've managed critical grid connection studies for large consumers and both fossil fuel-based and renewable generation plants. My professional advancement has been enriched by attending various value engineering workshops that focus on improving the electricity infrastructure in essential regions and substations. A hallmark of my leadership is my steadfast commitment to mentorship. Numerous former colleagues, under my guidance and supervision, have ascended to notable power system planning and transmission system planning positions in leading firms like PG&E and Shell, contributing significantly in countries such as the USA, Canada, Australia, and the Netherlands.
