      The ambit of my responsibilities are: - Responsible for the adoption of IAASB's audit, assurance and quality standards (including ISAs, ISAE, ISQMs) in Pakistan and their effective implementation through issue of guidelines, publications and member's outreach programs; - Plan and organize seminars/webinars, roundtables, consultative sessions, and trainings on technical topics related to audit, assurance and ethics for member's knowledge-sharing and education; - Actively involved in the adoption and implementation of IAASB's Quality Management standards and working directly on the QM Toolkit for practicing members; - Respond to member’s technical queries relating to IFRSs, ISAs, Ethics, Company law /other laws & regulations; - Actively work with the relevant Committee for the adoption of IFAC's Code of Ethics in Pakistan and plan stakeholder's engagement for its implementation; - Working on the Sustainability reporting and Assurance - Develop Institute's Directives, local standards, Guidelines, Circulars, Audit Bulletin, Illustrative and other publications on audit and assurance matters for members; - Develop Institute's Governance Manual inline with the best practices; - Develop comments on the Exposure Draft issued by IASB & IFAC from time to time. - Actively liaison with the local and international regulators/ professional bodies like IAASB, IESBA, CAPA, SAFA, SBP and SECP on various matters related to audit, assurance, ethics and allied matters; - Perform research on emerging issues on accounting, auditing and other issues; - Directly responsible for the evaluation of annual reports of top rated listed companies for the Best Corporate and Sustainability report Awards (BCR) annually in accordance with the evaluation criteria. - Responsible as Technical Officer from ICAP for the SAFA Best Presented Report Awards evaluation annually and remain involve from initiation till result finalization and results announcement.
