I'm diving into the heart of POL's operations at the Meyal plant. 🏭 Here, the intricate dance of science and engineering unfolds as a mixture of crude oil, water, and gas is skillfully separated into its valuable components. 💡 The gas, a precious resource, undergoes a meticulous distillation process to give birth to an array of essential products – POLGAS, LPG, gasoline oil, and solvent oil. 🛢️🔥 But that's not all! The journey of the crude oil doesn't end here. It's onward to the Khure plant, where another chapter of transformation awaits. The gas distillation and purification plants work tirelessly to remove H2S and refine the crude oil into its refined counterparts. As I step into this remarkable learning environment, I am brimming with curiosity and enthusiasm. 📚💡 The chance to witness firsthand the intricate processes that turn raw materials into vital energy sources and everyday essentials is an incredible privilege. I'm eager to absorb every bit of knowledge, to collaborate with brilliant minds, and to contribute to the innovative work taking place at POL. I completed a four-day virtual internship program from June 26th to June 29th, 2023. The program covered various topics relevant to the industry, including project management, data analysis, and communication skills. It consisted of live webinars, workshops, interactive sessions, and hands-on assignments. Networking opportunities and mentorship support were also provided.
