  Responsible for the overall sourcing, determining procurement strategy, building a reliable and competitive vendor network, negotiating and evaluating the purchase flow in the Standard Order Processing with cross-functional involvement in the whole Supply Chain processes to add value to the company’s overall performance. -1. • Assisting in category management of assigned approved supplier including management and renewal of supply agreement , negotiation for best commercial term, lead time as well handling and resolving off all product and service quality matters 2. • Identifying and executing of cost reduction opportunities for products assigned. Participating in cost down initiatives of the department 3. • Responsible for timely preparation of Product Costing Requests from all locations and prompt response to worldwide Tender Work Sheet request as well as price input for normal purchases 4. • Maintenance and Update of Approved Suppliers’ list, Supplier Performance Evaluation with plant audit and Supplier profile 5. • Sourcing of new products and suppliers, arranging for sample to lab and co-ordination with the Technical Team 6. • Liaison with finance should there any matters pertaining to payment / vendor bank account to suppliers. 7. • Communicate with Material Planners, Buyers, operational country for product availability, price and shipment planning base on requirement, forecast and excess stock information provided and also with Logistics team for freight cost and should there any other logistical issues & legal for long term contracting 8. • Assisting in creating new vendor/material code application for SAP PO beside maintenance and updating of Supplier’s Profile Database SKILLs: SAP user , Effective leadership and management Teamwork and interpersonal skills Planning and research skills to ensure work successfully done Good communication within team and to ensure negotiation target with vendor mutually achieved Resilience Show less
