My assignments included the writing of official documents, the composition of comprehensive research material, and managing diplomatic correspondence. My work was focused around the conduct of Hungarian foreign policy towards African countries and international organizations. I interacted with local and foreign partners, took part in meetings (e.g. about student exchange programs between Hungary and African countries) and contributed to the daily work of the department. As part of my job I took together a comprehensive database of companies, businessmen and foreign partners to support Hungarian external trade and wrote a thorough summary about the ICT sector of Ghana. I also wrote the weekly report on ebola for the Ebola Task Force of the Ministry that time. Show less

One of my responsibilities was to draw a voting pattern for the European Parliament balloting on matters concerning Israel. Media watching was also part of my job, so keeping an electronic record and providing summaries of how scientific, economic and cultural news about Israel appeared in different platforms of the Hungarian media. I contributed to a study concerning the prospects of trade between Israel and Hungary and assisted with writing and presenting a study on current conflicts in Israel. I also took part in cultural and social projects; e.g. hosting the Israeli and Holocaust memorial stand at the 21st International Book Festival, Budapest and participated in the production of the play ‘Ghetto’ by the Cameri Theatre, Tel Aviv. In addition to these, sometimes I was in charge of attending lectures and providing the Ambassador a credible summary about them when he could not show up. Show less
