  I work as a manager in schools, in China, for the International Education Division (FIE) of Fairmont Private Schools headquartered in Anaheim, CA. USA.My job involves many things but mostly interpreting the American H.S. college preparatory program to Chinese students, parents and administrators. Students enrolled in this program study English, US History and several "AP" courses, and, if successful, will receive a US H.S. diploma in addition to their Chinese Diploma.While respecting Chinese courses and methods of instruction, I work to train both Chinese and native-English speaking- teachers in American approaches and teaching styles so that the Chinese students they teach will be better prepared to enter top American colleges and universities.
