Black Girls in Cybersecurity (BGIC) is a non-profit organization founded by Talya Parker in 2018. The organization is dedicated to inspiring and encouraging Black girls and women to pursue careers in the field of cybersecurity. BGIC provides educational resources, mentorship, networking opportunities, and career development programs to equip its members with the knowledge, skills, and support they need to succeed in the industry. The organization aims to increase diversity and representation in the cybersecurity field, while also addressing the gender and racial disparities that exist within the industry.
