  💡The goal was to continually promote social welfare among the Kenyatta University, Parklands chapter members, and beyond our local community. In this role, I led my subcommittee in promoting the conversation on mental health, through collaborations with other KMUN chapters. I was privileged to have accredited psychologists honour the invitation to provide a professional approach towards the various mental health issues raised by our online session attendees. Additionally, I successfully spearheaded a collaboration with the Wakili wa Watoto club, KU where we visited the Kamae Girls Borstal Institution, just before the Christmas festivities of December, 2022.This was a great opportunity for the chapter members in attendance to not only give back to the community beyond our locality, but also interact closely and more personally with issues affecting children's rights. This position pushed me beyond my imagination, prompting me to get back to the basics of what is required to make an impact on the world around me. ✨Priorities were reorganized, friends and connections alike were made and invaluable life lessons learned.
