• Management of the Association of Public Health (APHL) Kenya in-country administrative activities, including payment processing, purchase orders, and coordination with vendors • Ensures that all administrative and logistical tasks are handled promptly, allowing for coordination of the stakeholder's meetings, task workgroups, and training with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI), and the Ministry of Health (MoH) personnel • Supervise APHL Kenya staff, including the Associate Administrative Specialist • Order stock for office consumables. • Assist in the planning and preparation of meetings and training held in Kenya as well as take notes/minutes as necessary during such meetings and training • Attend project meetings as requested by APHL Global Health Program Headquarters (HQ) staff • Assist in completing necessary reports as requested by APHL Global Health Program HQ staff • Act as a liaison with taxi vendor and ensures that ground transport requests are handled efficiently • Follow up on project raw data queries with the facilities as will be advised by the project activity lead • Ensure that all procurements and expenditures done complies with CDC rules and regulations • Assist with Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) activities as necessary • Attend Kenya's APHL HQ and In-country team meetings and provide minutes from the meeting • Support in the procurement of laboratory supplies • Support in-country staff travel arrangements, both local and international • Make arrangements for hotel reservations, conferences or meetings • Compile monthly expenditure reports on project activities (payments and other expenditures) per APHL policies and will submit the reports to the Country Director and for APHL HQ review and process • Compile monthly expenditure reports, travel advances, reimbursements and/or reconciliation, and submit for APHL HQ review and process Show less
