I met Faham through the University of Sunderland graduate mentoring program, which is a voluntary scheme on behalf of graduates in their final year of studies. Graduates are aligned to a senior business person from the region who provide personal and professional mentoring over the final 10 months of their respective degree, with the objective of supporting the development of life skills, and preparation for the world of work. Faham has been studying for a degree in Mechanical Engineering, a subject he is obviously very passionate about, with a desire to develop a career here in the UK within the field. He has clearly worked very hard at his studies obtaining a first class degree, with some very interesting final project work in the electric vehicle space. Faham has been a pleasure to support, a very intelligent young graduate with an easy and confident manner. He has dedicated himself to his studies but also has found the time to work part time and volunteer in the community. He will no doubt prove to be an asset to any organisation looking for the next generation of engineering talent.
