I've been privileged to have Fadi working on my software team for the last four years, and for more than ten years on similar teams at Dolby (and its predecessor Doremi Technologies). During this time, Fadi has been relied upon to establish and develop Web UIs and related technologies for a variety of cinema-industry applications, including real-time playback systems and backend management systems. In the last four years, Fadi singlehandedly owned the UI for our backend theater management system, including selection of technologies, front-end programming, and visual design. Additionally he has been able to work on back-end and related parts of the system as necessary. This work has been pivotal, as over the past four years we have deprecated our legacy application UIs in favor of Web-based UIs, and Fadi has managed to do this while maintaining very happy customers. This is not the first time Fadi has accomplished this at Dolby, previously doing the same thing for our playback systems, before handing-off the UI engineering of that product to another team so he could focus on the next product. Fadi is a serious, talented and dedicated employee and engineer that I have come to rely on without any reservations. He will make an excellent software engineer in any organization, his talent and experience around web technologies and front-ends being particularly outstanding.
