The internship was divided in many stages so we can be exposed to all the tools used by the company during the drilling of the well: MWD, LWD, RSS and Motors tools. We performed many tests (like the flow loop test) in order to make sure that the tools coming from the rig are functioning properly and we determined the level of maintenance needed accordingly which was done practically. We were assigned to search about theory of operation of many tools and sensors and finally we were able to present a proposal for turning the radiation test to an automated one to increase the safety of the employees.
