Content Strategist

Mind the Graph is a startup based in Florianópolis - Brazil. Their goal is to improve communication in science through visual resources. As a content strategist my job consisted on creating content for social media and blog management (wordpress). The main subjects of the content were about the challenges of communicating in science, new scientific discoveries and tutorials to create visual presentations. Through my time at Mind the Graph I had the opportunity of giving talks on design and communication for scientists. Among the Scientific conferences I could lecture were: - CCHCSP 17th Annual Symposium 2019 at the sickkids hospital in Toronto - CA - Yale-Capes Seminars in Biomedical Sciences in Porto Alegre - BR - Pharmacology Conference in Curitiba - BR - Pharmacology seminars in Florianópolis - BR Besides that, I was responsible for marketing automation, e-mail marketing campaigns, customer success and project management. Marketing Internship

I Do Code is a technology and programming school for kids and teenagers. For being a startup, I do code taught me how to work with a small team and I could participate of different areas of the Company. As a member of the marketing team I was responsible for content creation, blog and social media management (wordpress). Scientific internship

During my Biology Undergraduation Course I worked on a research project within the areas of Biochemistry and Bioinformatics. The main goal was to study biomarkers for marine pollution monitoring. I was responsible for cloning, expression, and purification of recombinant FABP in the pacific oyster Crassostrea gigas. With the purified protein I was able to analyze protein–ligand interactions using Circular dichroism (CD) spectroscopy and fluorescent probes. I also created 3D models of these same proteins using bioinformatics tools. I learned how to create and write scientific projects and reports. I lecture my results at several scientific conferences in poster sessions and oral presentations. My work at LABCAI resulted in my monograph entitled "Characterization of a fatty acid binding protein from Pacific oyster (Crassostrea gigas): pharmaceutical and toxicological implications" and a forthcoming paper.
