  Within the context of the annual Summer classes of the University of Applied Sciences Bremen, I assisted with the planning, execution, evaluation and follow-up of the program. This included organisational and administrative tasks as well as allocation of accommodation, accompanying program and the support regarding overall participant wellbeing. As a member of a small team, I was the contact person for approximately 250 international students and a number of German and foreign lecturers.   For the German Blog of the London Hostelworld Group (UK), I was translating English articles on a monthly freelancing basis into German. This work was a wonderful opportunity, to "travel" for a few hours during my study day and collect inspiration for any upcoming trips. The world has so much to offer and my translations for Hostelworld enabled me to further develop my culinary and cultural understanding.   After my first few weeks as an Intern in the company, I was offered a fixed-term full-time position as Customer Delivery Executive in the Groups Division. I was given responsibility for the operative business of 45 groups from approx. 15 different German clients and I became their main contactperson at JacTravel. In cooperation with my colleagues from the Account Development and Sales departments, I was, amongst others, in charge of the following:- Initial approach to the contactperson in the German market- Booking of Hotels, Services, Entrances, etc.- Cooperation with the suppliers and, where necessary, payment of the booked services- Intermediary between client and business partners/ suppliers- Problem-solving within the context of emergencies and at times booking of additional services- Creation and provision of travel documents for the groups (e.g. vouchers, itineraries, transportation)- InvoicingFurthermore, I have been able to contribute to the resolution of delays in payments both from clients and to suppliers that resolved from ambiguities. In addition to the day-to-day business, I was, at times but especially frequently during my last few weeks with the company, assigned to some urgent enquiries from colleagues and I was hence able to support the entire CD team.
