Fabian was an early hire from our pilot farm in Basel and we picked him for management trainee position.Soon, Fabian became an instrumental part of our management team as Director of Farm Development, leading our farm development pipeline in the EU. Fabian was also highly involved with working on major real-estate key accounts, marketing our offering to large institutional property owners and major supermarket chains, as well as spearheading our US market entry, building up our US presence in NYC.

Fabian has done a tremendous job so far as Director of Development, despite his young age. As the Director of Development, Fabian’s role was broad and his responsibilities varied from negotiating long term lease agreements, to construction management of actual farms, and from business case planning, to designing and launching a farm scout app. Fabian’s execution of all tasks and assignments exceeded expectations, due to his talent to bring a bird’s eye view/top down approach on projects, and being able to connect different views and visions to align interests. Although not directly under his responsibilities, Fabian goes above and beyond and shows interest in other aspects of the business and analyses markets and industries indirectly linked with the work assigned to him.
