I spearheaded the data gathering for Christian persecution in the Philippines, Vietnam, Myanmar, Laos, Sri Lanka, and Bhutan. I also conducted midterm and impact evaluation of Open's Doors' programs in the six countries. One of my accomplishments was the introduction of an emergency response process for the organization, which helped the organization respond faster to life-threatening crises. Papers on the possible use of blockchain, the situation of Christians in the Buddhist context, emergency response procedures, and impact evaluation report for Sri Lanka and Vietnam. Data Gathering - Conducted multiple interviews of Christians who have experienced first-hand persecution. I also facilitated group discussions with pastors and church leaders to better understand the effects of persecution and also understand their capacity to withstand it. Procurement of Services - Successfully negotiated for the purchase and assembly of emergency Non-Food and Food Items kits. I also facilitated the bidding and selection for warehousing in Luzon and Visayas, and the transport of prepositioned goods to any point in the Philippines. Process Improvement - I had to review the chokepoints in the overall response process. I led the logistics, procurement, and administration departments for the Western Leyte office. We provided housing, transport, administrative, and IT support for more than 180 staff. My team also led the distribution of more than 9,000 metric tons of shelter, health, livelihood, and WASH interventions to 36 barangays in Western Leyte. Logistics and Supply Chain - Our team was in charge of purchase, storing, and transport of more than 9,000 metrics tons of non-food items to 36 barangays in Western Leyte. Our team ensured a clear paper trail from purchase until distribution to provide regular updates to the different departments. We also coordinated with various programs in assisting them with their procurement and distribution plans. We also updated policies regarding the emergency supply chain to guide future responders regarding logistics and supply chain standards. Office Administration - The administrative team handled the contracts for office, housing, and hotels, maintenance of the office and houses, the transport and accommodations of guests, booking of training venues, and design layout for the office. We also updated the administrative policies to guide future responders better. Program Support - Our team regularly coordinated with the leadership to explain if the plan is doable or not. We also provided alternative recommendations to make the timeline feasible.
