I worked with Ezgi when she served as a Creative Technology Intern in the MediaLab at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where I am Senior Manager. "Intern" at the MediaLab is more like a residency, or independent research: participants are expected to be highly self-motivated, ambitious, and to come with their own ideas to work on. Ezgi excelled in all of these things, and in addition she eagerly reached out to many Met staff, using their feedback to guide her project. I think Ezgi is supremely talented, focused, and a pleasure to work with. Her project "Multisensory Met," is still talked about amongst out staff, who would all be happy to work with her again. Wherever she ends up, I'm sure she's going to make valuable contributions, particularly if her personal creativity is allowed to shine.
