My role as digital and web coordinator encompasses many functions. I am responsible for the overall project management of the ACTTAB website (online appearance), email newsletters, social media and other digital initiatives. I am required to constantly monitor of ACTTAB’s online activities, optimize visitor experience, drive attendance and maximize awareness of and engagement with ACTTAB’s activities and brand. I work closely with the Head of Marketing and Sponsorship in producing and managing digital content, creating and administering email newsletters and managing social channels when required.

Digital Coordinator

In this role, I was responsible for managing Lifeline's major online projects. One of my main projects was a refresh of Lifeline's website and training staff from Lifeline to use the newly implemented Content Management System with external consultant from Sydney. As part of this project I met with internal stakeholders to discuss communication deliverables, conducted user testing with key external stakeholders and helped to design a revised UI approach. In addition to revising the site structure, I also managed to redesign of the Lifeline website, for which I developed wire-frames and worked to finalise more complexed design concepts with external consultants. The new design aims to maximise the impact of the Lifeline 24/7 support and deliver a fresh, modern look to the online presence. As part of the staged implementation of this project I mapped content to the proposed new structure and beginning to work with the content owners from Lifeline to populate and develop new content.

Web Officer

Duties included documenting, compiling, editing and publishing content for the web; understanding and applying information architecture concepts; following accessibility and usability requirements; editing variety of multimedia formats; and manipulating HTML/PHP. Additionally, I compiled, edited and published websites for 3 schools, as follow - School of Arts and Social Science, Alumni and Friends and School of National Security. New features included a new stylised front or home page, updated structure with new sections, interactive flash image element and a new library of text and image styles. They are all suffice as part of the ANU web styling compliance scheme.
