  • Responsible for management, configuration, optimization and fault-free operation of the main RAN systems (BSCs, TRCs, PCUs, RNCs, BTSs, NodeBs) with their OSS elements and their subordinates. • Work together with the RAN operations team primary responsible for the fault-free operation and maintenance of RAN Core and BTS systems • To integrate products from different vendors, handling of product upgrades, product acceptance testing, onsite services for problem resolution including escalation of problems to various levels; • To configure, support, install and administrate Transmission systems • To prepare the RAN systems internal procedures and documentation and to check and comment vendor specific procedures; • To analyze requirements document, finding gaps with respect to relevant industry standards, i.e. specifications, design, development and maintenance of hardware and OS/DB/Application software for RAN Core and BTS elements • To provide a proper access of the final users to the RAN systems and associated NE elements. • To work together and support the team of RAN systems operations engineers in daily task and activities related to normal operation, configuration and maintenance of the RAN systems and elements. • Takes leading participation in all activities for achieving corporate plans and targets. 6. Monitoring responsibilities: • Carries full responsibility for the normal operation of the RAN Core and BTS network and network elements BSCs, TRCs, PCUs, RNCs, BTSs, NodeBs • Manages and Support the RAN Core systems operations team in their tasks and responsibilities. • Supports and maintains configuration, software and hardware of the related RAN Core and BTS equipment • Performs higher level of support to the other units in case of faults and problems in the functionality of the RAN Core and BTS systems. • Takes active part for final problem solving in the RAN Core and BTS systems and associated network.
