I co-ordinated project teams to ensure projects were delivered on time, within budget and exceeded the required quality outcomes. My skills as an effective communicator were required to liaise with the client and consultants directly and problem solve whenever called upon to maintain the smooth completion of the project. Operating as both principal contractor and subcontractor provided me with invaluable insight into understanding successful contractual objectives and outcomes. To ensure employer and client expectations were consistently met, I developed systems and procedures to allow for control, analysis and adaptation of working methods for the office and on site. My key responsibilities were: • To lead project deliverance to meet quality, time & cost imperatives. • Forward planning company workload, project resource requirements and staff development. • Provision of a safe working environment. These responsibilities were delivered through the following day to day duties: • Quantification and tendering • Post tender co-ordination and subcontract procurement • Subcontractor management and payments • Budget development, forecasting, progress claims and monthly reviews • Project programming, prioritising and monitoring • Development of site specific OH&S, Environmental and Quality plans • Liaison and communication with clients, consultants and relevant authorities I delivered numerous contracts in my role, they included the following key projects: Fitzroy Gardens Stormwater Harvesting, Ivanhoe Golf Course stormwater harvesting, Royal Exhibition Building Western Forecourt and Stormwater Harvesting, St Kilda Foreshore Redevelopment, Melbourne Convention Centre Public Realm Precinct, Melbourne Park Redevelopment and Royal Children’s Hospital External Works.
