Techleading and managing in a small-team project which main purpose was to implement a Map-Matcher Server. The project was using an open-source solution responsible for Map-Matching (using OpenStreetMap as a data source) and adapted to project-specific needs. We have provided a Docker Container with the gRPC server written in Python that was implementing an interface provided in the protocol buffer by the customer. The project required providing Unit Tests (written in Python) and extensive project documentation.Working on the customer side in an external engineer role, supporting requirement analysis of the Predictive Street Data Project for the Automotive industry. The main role was to analyze requirements provided by the customer, defining details in comparison to Navigation Data Standard specification (version 2.5.2), finding risks and issues, providing estimates, conducting communication with the customer.Working in a resident role on the customer side. The main purpose of the project was to provide unit tests for navigation features coded in C++ as well as supporting the customer in writing good quality code, easy to test, easy to maintain, well designed, well documented. The role of resident was mainly handling communication between engineers on the customer side and engineers involved with writing unit tests on the Mobica side, defining processes, supporting bug reporting and handling, providing reports, escalating issues, helping and advising in problem solving as well as conducting synchronization in infrastructure that differed between sides.

The result was a proof-of-concept for a new hardware platform that was exhibited at several key tradeshows. The demo included support for three screens that were driven directly by the main board: an infotainment screen, a passenger screen and an instrument cluster screen. Most of the UI was created from scratch, using the GL Studio user interface development software from DiSTI Corporation, although the work also included integration of third party applications for functionality such as Android Auto and Miracast support. Mobica was also responsible for board support package porting to the new hardware platform from the previous hardware.Main responsibility was to communicate with the customer, decide on the exact requirements and priorities, taking care of the smooth cooperation with the customer and internally between team members, defining issues and risks, preparing project documents, escalating important issues.
