It is not often you come across people who works hard and generally show the love for what they do. I had the pleasure of working with Ewa in a Microbiology course during my Master studies and I was impressed by her knowledge in microbiology and how she, as a supervisor, helped her students by discussing and giving input on how to trial and error the daily lab activities. I especially remember that thanks to Ewas' ability to critically think, me and my lab partner were able to successfully isolate a bioluminescent bacterial strain from fish which got us the highest score in the student course project! She always had a smile on her face when the students came to the morning sessions in the laboratory. Ewa would be an asset to any team.
