  Responsible for the production of axles for delivery to Freightliner Trucks and Thomas Built Buses in support of parent company Daimler Trucks North America's (DTNA) manufacturing efforts. Duties included supervising an axle assembly line with 22 unionized hourly production workers. Also was responsible for ensuring all quality measures were met on a daily basis as outlined in ISO/TS 16949.Tasked with administering shop floor discipline to the workforce in an effort to establish cohesiveness in a United Auto Workers (UAW) setting. Dedicated to utilizing the Truck Operating System (Lean) to identify and eliminate waste, reduce cost, increase efficiency, and to continually improve processes.
