Evgenyia was my supervisor of a semesterproject during my Master at ETH Zurich. Evgeniya is an amazing supervisor. She managed perfectly to find the optimal way between demands and freedom. In that way I was both motivated and abetted to advance my project and having it finished in the appointed time. Her support was tailor-made to my questions. From the beginning of my project she was able to form a cooperative team of students from different countries and different scientific background. Evgeniya has outstanding communication skills and was always interested in feedback to improve her skills even further. It was a great pleasure to work with her.

Evgeniya was my supervisor during a MSc semester project undertaken in the Electrochemical Energy Systems Laboratory at ETH Zurich. She helped me during the entire project which was about production of hydrogen peroxide through oxygen reduction reaction using RRDE. The technics and practical methodology used to carry out the project were totally new to me as it was my first experience in electrochemistry, such that Evgeniya's expertise and caring were essential. When facing an issue, she brought an indispensable support by helping me first to raise the right questions that must be answered in order to solve the problem encountered, and then by sharing her knowledge to assist me during the thinking process. Her door remained always open, while letting me work in autonomy. Thanks to her invaluable support, I had the opportunity to gain much knowledge about electrochemistry and research methodology, but also about team management. Therefore, I am very happy to support Evgeniya in her future applications.
