I led the development of a taxonomy based auto-classification process and its attendant enterprise content management system. My team of eight created a multi-faceted ontology that identifies concepts in the unstructured data of more than 2 million news stories a year. We used the resulting metadata to create niche content products for clients. I defined the database structure, which subsequently allowed us to search across data silos for results.
