Industry placement year Roles and responsibilities: • Preparation of content for Sales Directors including forecasts, business reviews and ad-hoc sales analysis. • Creation and maintenance of various reports used by the HANA Enterprise Cloud and SAP Ariba teams, that automatically track any pipeline movement, giving greater visibility into their pipelines. • Support both sales teams by providing accurate pipeline analysis and maintenance through analysing CRM, ADRM, C4C and BOBJ systems. • Deliver analysis used for creation of Deep Dive presentations and Quarterly Business Reviews. • Support the UKI and N/EMEA head of SAP Ariba, and UKI head of HEC, with preparation and running of weekly forecast calls with Account Executives and Sales Managers/Directors. • General support of all sales processes. • Interact with other various business functions within SAP. I also took part in the 70/30% split scheme offered by SAP, spending 30% of my time in another area of the business. I chose to do this in the SAP Ariba Field Marketing team, also working in Customer Marketing, with the N/EMEA SAP Ariba Customer Value Organisation. Responsibilities: • Helping to manage all Customer Engagement post sales, by supporting the SAP Ariba N/EMEA CVO team. • Leading the Social Media platform for UKI SAP Ariba • Assisting with the organisation of Customer events, such as SAP Ariba Live. • Leading the organisation of a Chief Procurement Officer breakfast (this event successfully generated 5 leads for the SAP Ariba sales team) • Working daily with the CVO team to plan, organise and lead Customer Success Days, Customer User Groups and webinars. • Filling in as the interim position for the N/EMEA Customer Marketing role, until a permanent replacement was found.
