  I am an intern for one of my past professors who is conducting research through the Gang Reduction Initiative Denver. GRID is a program that aims to help adolescents who have been in trouble with the law or suspected of gang activity by receiving a case worker to work on prevention strategies for better behavior. I conduct surveys on the adolescents and the surveys are used to see if the programs are working and how they can be altered to be more effective.   I was an intern at an office of clinical psychologists with various specializations. My duties included learning the company's database in order to edit, print, and file client reports. I also sent out invoices, pamphlets, and letters to clients, potential clients, and other businesses. I enjoyed forming relationships with clients and co-workers while completing my office tasks.
