Creating community, checking in students at night, enforcing quiet hours and lights out, and organizing events for a dance summer camp for students ages 13-17. We were dancing 12 hour days, performing every weekend. Our main focus was to make sure the dancers felt welcome, challenged, and safe throughout their experience. Auditioned, then filmed, and then aired on national television in the cooking competition. Advanced cooking skills, quick thinking, and creativity in the kitchen were all requirements. I participated in many interviews and media outreach since my win. Afterward, I hosted cooking/baking masterclasses through the Lawrenceville School to promote experimenting in the kitchen and to create community connections throughout the pandemic (2020).
