I was fortunate to have had Evan as my Coach at The LEAP program in 2014. His kindness, insightfulness and general demeanour inspires those around him to be better. He is a great leader who leads by example. His leadership skills are highly commendable, and his commitment to his students was evident at LEAP. This was particularly demonstrated when one of our team members was disengaged from the group. In spite of a language and cultural barrier, Evan handled this situation exceptionally. Through persistence, Evan facilitated a reform in the behaviour of the team member, and consequently the group dynamic was enhanced. Evan made us all feel valued, listened to and challenged us to grow which was truly appreciated. Through his coaching and guidance, Evan positively impacted my life and as a result, inspired me to return to LEAP as a Coach, in the hopes to do the same for others.
