  I transitioned to the IU Health Beltway Surgery Center at Harcourt in August of 2016. Utilizing the wealth of knowledge gained in my previous position as an embedded resource in the pathology laboratory, I work closely with the management team to facilitate overall operation of business office functions of the outpatient surgery center, including patient registration, surgery scheduling, and internal auditing.

  I began my journey with IU Health in the IUH Pathology Laboratory as a specimen courier on the daily Bloomington route. From there, I quickly assumed the role of relief courier or "route skipper" where I learned every Indianapolis courier's route to ensure that every courier route was completed with little to no hassle to clients. In this position, I was able to gain incredible insights on the entirety of the Indianapolis market. I was also selected as one of a handful of IU Health Pathology Laboratory employees to form the inaugural Embedded Resources cohort.
