  In this role, my responsibilities entailed editing and organizing each story passed up from our desk editors. I prepared each article for our editor-in-chief to publish to our online newspaper. I also worked with all the desk editors to facilitate communication and motivate staff writers.

  As a photographer, I team up with writers to create a visual aspect for a given article. Usually these were photos, and often video. I have been shooting for the Moorpark Reporter at Moorpark College for two and a half years. My experience there has vastly improved my skills as a photographer and journalist.
