      Responsible for the management of Humane Society International Australia's private land conservation program, the Wildlife Land Trust, and terrestrial habitat and threatened species campaigns.Regular duties include:Oversight of HSI's Threatened Ecological Communities nomination program, with submissions most commonly seeking listings under the Commonwealth EPBC Act and NSW TSC Act;Campaigning and lobbying on terrestrial species protection, particularly flying-foxes and dingoes;Preparation and submission of National and Commonwealth Heritage nominations;Management of various terrestrial habitat protection campaigns such as the response to the NSW Biodiversity Legislation Review;Providing detailed content featured in HSI's Technical Bulletins and HSI/WLT newsletters and websites;Social media communications and profile growth;Various environmental and animal welfare related campaigning efforts as required.My primary responsibility is the management of the Australian Wildlife Land Trust - a network of privately owned sanctuaries dedicated to habitat preservation and the protection of native wildlife. Under my coordination, the WLT has grown significantly from a membership of 45 properties to approximately 360. I believe conservation efforts on private land are an essential and often overlooked component of habitat protection, and am proud of my involvement in the growth of this program and ongoing support for landowners.Member of the IUCN World Commission on Protected Areas, NSW Flying-fox Consulative Committee, and Australian Wildlife Management Society.
