Conducted qualitative interviews with medical professionals, and end-users to formulate and test patient decision aids for emergency medicine objectives, namely suicide prevention, firearm violence reduction, and opioid abuse/misuse. Iteratively designed, tested, and analyzed the efficacy and acceptability of informational and educational tools in an emergency medicine setting with the intended goal of promoting further awareness of suicide prevention methods and strategies. Translated these educational tools into public-facing websites through graphic and web design, evaluating end-user experiences with analytic and qualitative data. Coordinated with various stakeholders in addressing personal and professional needs related to the implementation of these patient decision aids. Assisted federal investigators in applying many of these objectives to larger national products that aimed to reduce veteran suicide rates by promoting collaborations between federal and local firearm communities.
