Training Advisor

My role at BCITO consisted of Account Management for 20 different businesses and 50 apprentices. This involved visiting apprentices and employers on construction sites to assess Carpentry apprentice skills and knowledge against the NZQA qualification. After site visits, I constructed detailed training plan reports. The purpose of which was to confirm what standards were achieved, highlight gaps in skill and/or knowledge, and establish goals for the next 3 months. Visual Merchandiser and Sales Assistant
-
out. de 2015 - jul. de 2016
Starting in the Visual Merchandising team involved setting up in store displays, window displays, merchandising and discussing/exploring creative ideas. A contract originally for 2 months was extended further. I then took the opportunity when I could to work as a Sales assistant in February. This lead to me gaining skills in reading customers body language and listening to the customers needs to ultimately close the sale. Labourer - Apprentice - BCITO Qualified Bricklayer
-
set. de 2011 - set. de 2015
In this company I started from the bottom and worked my way up through the ranks. I learnt various ways of dealing with different personality types and gained a strong base for my work ethic. Daily tasks would involve mixing of mortar, loading out blocks and erecting masonry walls; I would also have dealings with the site foreman to ensure work was ready to proceed and to negotiate/discuss the aesthetic look and placement of the fine construction details. Throughout my apprenticeship book work was to be completed as well as a block course which was held in Hamilton.
