  I evaluated the effects of anti-fungal susceptibility on the biofilms of two human colon isolates of Nakaseomyces glabrata. N.glabrata is a species of fungus that colonizes in the gastrointestinal (GI) track. The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared N. glabrata a high priority pathogen due to its high mortality rate and resistance to antifungal drugs. Further, N. glabrata forms biofilms, which are microbial communities highly recalcitrant to treatment.
