My current research investigates deliberative engagement processes for energy grid system change both in Ireland and Internationally.

My research currently seeks to investigate a multi-stakeholder approach to the socio-technical transition to a low-carbon society, through a transdisciplinary engaged research approach on the Dingle Peninsula. Working collaboratively with a number of stakeholders as part of the ‘Dingle Peninsula 2030’ project this research explores the merging of top-down and bottom-up approaches.
