Monica Perez

We did not work in the same group but I could benefit from her work as safety representative in our Department. During the time we shared together in the research laboratory of the Department, it was quite clear her presence and her input in several issues, organization of lab spaces, spreading and establishing the routines regarding handling of chemical residues and chemical stores, introducing the new students to the lab-safety rules etc. I was quite impressed about her level of engagement, being always pro-active and direct addressing the different needs of the research unit that at that time implied settling into a new floor and increasing the number of research groups.
