The Anti-Racism Strategic Tables' Anti-Asian Racism Working Group (AARWG) under the Division of People Strategy, Equity & Culture department.Steering Committee Work stream: Practice, Policy and ProcedureReview existing policies in relevant reports and provide feedback to determine whether current practices and policies are appropriate to address anti-Asian racism. Provide relevant and actionable solutions to (outdated) reports where indicated.Students and Curricula Subcommittee: Consult with members of the University community about their experiences with anti-Asian racism through the application of various focus groups, interviews, and a Survey created by AARWG Subcommittees. Collected data and responses will contribute to a Final Report that will be sent to University administration for actionable steps to be taken on a tri-campus scope. The core of the Working Group seeks to address, combat, and eliminate anti-Asian racism in the University; disintegrating racism on an explicit and implicit level through application of "practices, processes, and policies" (AARWG, 2022).
