    • Managing Director
      • Jan 2013 - Dec 2015

Managing Director Historic heritage and charity consultant Member of steering committee Organising, creative management, team management, brand creation, strategic development, fundraising. Background: The Czech Republic is a country with great historic background and the landscape is literally dotted with an incredible number of various monuments. The communist era was very damaging, it left properties uncared for and made people feel that heritage was of no use for them. The aim of Czech National Trust is to change this attitude and to establish a platform that is currently missing in the Czech Republic: one that would become a partner to all state and civic activities trying to rescue sites of historic interest and give them new purposes while still preserving their historical status. The responses so far are very positive: people do love their surroundings and want to participate. The activity is supported by a broad range of professionals and private owners of heritage sites, which is a great strength ensuring the success of the Czech National Trust. There is a great potential of voluntary work, yet volunteering is still thought of as something minor in the Czech Republic. Through sharing knowledge and experiences the program aims to help in developing healthy communities and to generally strengthen the civic society in the Czech Republic. Czech National Trust is founded by The Friends of Czech Heritage, a registered UK Charity. Show less
